Clare Morris-Keep is delighted to have been asked to take on Flitwick Singers from Sept 2018 as their new Musical Director.
Clare graduated with honours in 1995 majoring in Music, with Drama and Art as complimentary studies.
She leads the Milton Keynes Music Centre’s Intermediate Choir and Junior Choir; she’s a vocal animateur for Central Beds’ Sing Out Play Out project;
she’s been a vocal coach for the KICC adult gospel choir based in Milton Keynes;
she’s a popular and well-regarded singing, piano and keyboard teacher for many Milton Keynes secondary and primary schools;
she works with the MK Music Cooperative teaching adults and children after school/weekends.
Clare is also a keen singer herself. She has sung soprano regularly in a variety of choirs for over 30 years, performed many solos for weddings, funerals,
special services and events all over the country and beyond and she also loves singing rock, pop, jazz and blues songs for gigs or parties on occasions.
As well as all of this, she’s very much a devoted mum to her two daughters who are also very musical and wife to her husband who is a much-sought after piano teacher and accompanist
in Milton Keynes – so their home and life is full of music! She is very much looking forward to taking on Flitwick Singers in September.
